House Fire

Details:	FD units arrived to find a fully involved car fire along with a well involved garage fire in a medium sized duplex home. Crews were notified of people trapped inside prior to arrival. Fire fighters made entry into home to the south and rescued 2 people in zero visibility smoke conditions. Both occupants were transported to Maricopa Medical Center for smoke inhalation injuries and are expected to survive. The fire was knocked down, limiting the damage to the car, both garages and some extension into the interior of the attached homes. One fire fighter was transported to SHC-Osborn with heat related illness. The fire is under investigation and early signs point to a damaged gas meter in the garage, near where the car was parked. No foul play suspected at this point. Damage estimates not done yet.
