On Tuesday at 5:25 PM SPD responded to a single vehicle collision at the Aliante Apartments at 10921 N. 115^th Street. A silver Saturn had been traveling south on 115^th Street when the vehicle turned into the complex and struck the fountain in front of the clubhouse. The driver was unresponsive and transported to SHC Shea where he was pronounced deceased. At this point, neither alcohol nor speed appears to be factors. It is believed that the driver suffered a medical episode and crashed into the fountain. The investigation continues pending the autopsy results.
