On 03/10/12 7:30 a.m. SPD was called to Scottsdale Road and Osborn for a fatal collision involving a grey Chevy pickup truck and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was northbound in the crosswalk on the east side of the intersection when the pickup truck, which was making a left hand turn from southbound Scottsdale Road, struck her. Neither alcohol nor drugs appear to be factors in this collision. Osborn from Scottsdale Road to 74th Street was closed during the investigation until noon.
