Commercial Vehicle Inspections in north Scottsdale

With the motoring traffic’s safety in mind, the Scottsdale Police Department conducted a Commercial truck inspection detail on June 8, 2011, from 6:00 am to noon. The Officers working this detail near Pima and Dynamite roads, found 70 safety violations in a total of 31 commercial motor vehicles inspected. Three of those trucks were ordered to be parked due to their unsafe condition. Safety violations included unsafe brakes and overweight vehicles. Officers from Scottsdale Traffic Unit conduct special inspection details such as these on a monthly basis.
