On Sunday just before midnight SPD was called to a home in the 13600 block of N. 87th Street in reference to a burglary that had just taken place. A possible suspect vehicle was described as a white and brown minivan leaving the area.
When officers arrived the victims stated that they scared off two male subjects who were in the back yard attempting to gain entry through a sliding glass door. After the suspects had left the victims noticed that the suspects were successful gaining entry into a separate part of the home and had taken personal property and electronic devices including the victim’s cell phone. During the officer’s investigation the victim utilized his tracking program for his cell phone and found the phone to be in the area of 6800 E. Mayo. Officers were dispatched to that area and found a minivan matching the suspect’s description. A traffic stop was made in the area of Scottsdale Road and Mayo Blvd and the items from the burglary were found inside of the vehicle.
Both suspects were taken into custody and booked in the Scottsdale Jail on a Burglary Charge. Booking photos not available as of yet. |
