On 12/12/11 at 3:30 pm SPD was called to the Circle K at 4101 N. Hayden Road due to an armed robbery that had just occurred. The suspect entered the store and approached the counter with his hand in his pocket simulating a weapon and demanded cash. After receiving money he fled in a white Buick northbound on Hayden.
Shortly thereafter, the vehicle was found unoccupied in a parking lot at 2980 N. Hayden. Officers conducted surveillance on the vehicle and when the suspect returned to it he was taken into custody without incident.
The suspect was booked on the associated Armed Robbery charges. |
