On 03/25/12 at 8:00 p.m. SPD was called to the Acacia Creek Apts at 9825 N. 70th Street. The 45 year old victim was called to deliver an order to the complex and when he arrived to the stairwell of his destination, the suspect, a 17 year old black male, was waiting at the bottom of the stairs and began an unprovoked attack on the victim. He knocked the victim to the ground and punched him multiple times in the face and then ran off. The victim suffered multiple facial fractures.
Investigation revealed the identity of the suspect and on Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. the suspect was located at 9990 N. Scottsdale Road and was taken into custody without incident. He was booked on three related Aggravated Assault charges.
