On Sunday morning at 1:30 AM SPD was called to an Aggravated Assault at the Revolver Nightclub (7316 E. Stetson). When officers arrived they were informed that club security was holding onto the suspect after he punched another club security person in the face.
The suspect, Jason Froio walked out the back door to the club while still holding a drink. One of the security personnel followed Froio out the door and asked him multiple times to come back inside with his drink. Security then began to assist Froio back inside when Froio punched the victim in the face while still holding the drink. The glass from the drink broke causing lacerations to the face of the victim. The victim was treated for his injuries at SHC-Osborn. The suspect was booked into jail after receiving treatment for cuts to his hand. |
