Update 05/26/11:
On Friday, May 19th, the second suspect, Bryan Hachey turned himself in to the Scottsdale Police Department.
On Wednesday afternoon, May 25th, the victim succumbed to his injuries and died while in the hospital from the assault that occurred on May 3rd.
The suspects now may also face a murder charge pending results of the autopsy.
UPDATE: After further investigation it has been determined that Hachey is also a suspect in the Assault and Robbery. Hachey is transient and any information regarding his location can be called in to SPD at 480-312-5000 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
ORIGINAL: On 05/03/11 at 3:15 PM SPD was called to 7650 E. McDowell Rd. in reference to an Aggravated Assault that took place near the Skate Park. Multiple adult males (all known to each other) were engaged in a verbal argument when the victim fell to the ground and while on the ground began to be punched and kicked by the suspect in the head. The suspect then took the victim’s wallet and phone and fled the area. Officers found the suspect on a bike in the area of 2311 N. Miller where he was taken into custody.
The victim was transported to SHC-Osborn with facial fractures.
The suspect was booked on a count of Robbery and Aggravated Assault.
