District Four serves the far north area of Scottsdale. This district borders Phoenix, Fountain Hills, Cave Creek, Carefree and Tonto National Forest. District Four begins at Cactus Rd. north to the Tonto National Forest.
District Four encompasses nearly two thirds of the geographic area of the City. It continues to experience tremendous growth in single and multi-family residences, retail, commercial and light industrial development. District Four services the Scottsdale Airport and Airpark commercial development area, as well as several venues for nationally acclaimed sporting and competitive events such as the FBR Open, Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction, and the Annual All-Arabian Horse Show. It also encompasses the McDowell Mountain Preserve, a popular and scenic natural reserve of the Sonoran Desert.
