This district encompasses the area of the city south of Osborn Road. District 1 is a unique and ethnically diverse community. It includes the multiple businesses along with a community of single and multi-family housing. The police function within this district is well entrenched into the principles of community policing.

District 1 officers and personnel are committed to serving the community by focusing on five operational goals:
