Applicants who are successful in completing each phase of the background process are given a conditional offer pending a psychological assessment, drug tests and in some instances depending on the position, a physical.
Successful applicants will be given a final job offer with a start date identified. The entire background process may take an average of 6-8 weeks depending on the responsiveness of the applicant and the ability to gather background information. The department has a variety of quality control measures in place during this process and all information is confidential.
