The City of Scottsdale water conservation office is offering rebates to water customers who install water conservation devices in their homes or businesses. The rebates are offered to encourage a permanent reduction in indoor water use.

Who can apply?
The Plumbing Rebate Program is available to customers whose properties are connected to the City of Scottsdale’s water system. The applicant must be the property owner or the party legally responsible for paying the water bill. Structures built after January 1, 1992, are not eligible to receive rebates. Conservation devices must also be purchased after January 1, 1992.

How do I apply?
Mail in a completed rebate application and an original dated sales receipt within one year of purchase for each water conservation device installed to:

What conservation devices are eligible?
Showerheads that have a flow of 2.75 gallons per minute (gpm) or less
Toilets that have 1.6-gallons per flush (gpf)

How much of a rebate will I receive?
The rebate for installing a 2.75 gpm showerhead is $5 per unit.

The rebate for installing a 1.6 gpf toilet is $75.

No toilet rebates are given for structures built after January 1, 1992.
Single-family properties can receive rebates on two showerheads and two toilets.
Multifamily, commercial or industrial properties can receive rebates up to the total number of showerheads and/or toilets on the property.

How will I receive my rebate?
Approved rebates will appear as a one-time credit on your monthly water bill.

How can I receive free aerators?
Single-family properties can receive two aerators.
Multifamily, commercial or industrial properties can receive aerators equal to the number of faucets on the property.
