Youth Corps
What is Youth Corps?The Youth Corps is a summer teen volunteer program for middle through high school teens. Volunteers can explore career opportunities, give back to the community, and receive school credit (with prior school approval). Opportunities are available in City of Scottsdale offices, recreation centers, citizen service centers and senior centers.

CRITERIA FOR SELECTIONThe following criteria have been established for Youth Corps volunteer applicants to help them understand the volunteer assignment process. Due to the large number interested volunteers, we are not able to assign all volunteer applicants to a position this summer. Everyone who applies is invited to attend our job skills training workshops scheduled this summer and participate in our planned service projects. Flyers will be sent out to each applicant regarding opportunities. The screening process results will determine volunteer placement. Presentation - Aspects of the presentation Applicant Flexibility - the applicant must Past Performance Experience Willingness to adhere to the set policies and standards of the City of Scottsdale. Ability to perform all essential functions of the tasks and duties of the Youth Corps Volunteer position description. |
How do I join Youth Corps?1) Fill out an online application form. Returning volunteers will be mailed a separate application. (*See Criteria for Selection)
