“Drop-In” Recreation & Socialization:
Recreation Leaders at each site conduct activities including tournaments, cookouts, arts & crafts, games, guest speakers or special events, drama, sports and fitness related activities for Scottsdale’s youth. Some locations offer homework help. All after school programs are drop-in, which means that youth are permitted to come and go as they wish. Staff will provide fun and exciting recreational opportunities, but they cannot retain children who wish to leave. |
 |
| By having your child handle these issues he or she will be developing his or her own responsibility and trust skills required to plan recreational activities. During most program days, participants may arrive at any time after the program begins and they may depart at any time without signing in or out. Staff to child ratios are between 1:17 and 1:20. |
Check online registration for course descriptions, locations, registration dates, course dates and times, and ages or call (480) 312-RECR (7327) for more details.
