Video coverage of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor’s appearance in Scottsdale to discuss her new children’s book, Chico, will air this weekend nationally on the Book TV series on CSPAN-2.

The program airs Sunday, Sept. 25, at 1 and 7 p.m.

Scottsdale’s own CityCable 11 channel will carry coverage of the event every Sunday in October at 2, 6 and 9 p.m.

O’Connor discussed her newly released book for the first time before a packed house Sept. 18 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library Auditorium.

The book recounts a true-life story about an incident with her horse, Chico, and the lessons she learned while growing up on a ranch on the Arizona-New Mexico border. During her appearance, O’Connor answered questions from children in the audience and shared memories about a pet bobcat, playing poker with cowboys and learning to ride horses.
