Construction of pedestrian enhancements and five roadway capacity improvement projects will soon be underway to improve traffic flow and safety at several Scottsdale locations. The improvements are intended to provide better access and safer conditions for drivers and pedestrians.

Starting the week of March 21, construction will begin on Mountain View Road and on Grayhawk Drive. In following weeks, work will begin on roadway capacity improvements on Scottsdale Road and Dynamite Road. All six locations are due for completion by the end of April. The projects may require lane closures and other traffic restrictions. Motorists are advised to be cautious in all construction zones.

The projects are listed below; construction dates are subject to change:

• Mountain View Pedestrian Enhancements - Beginning March 23rd Construction of two entry islands and one pedestrian crossing island on Mountain View Road between 112th Street and 96th Street
• Hayden Road and Grayhawk Drive - Beginning March 23rd North/south median reconstruction at Hayden Road and Grayhawk Drive.
• Scottsdale Road and Bobwhite Way - Beginning March 28th Construction of a southbound right turn lane at Dynamite Boulevard and Bobwhite Way.
• Scottsdale Road and Dixileta Drive - Beginning March 28th Construction of a southbound right turn lane at Dynamite Boulevard and Dixileta Drive.
• Dynamite Boulevard and 103rd Place - Beginning April 4th Construction of an eastbound right turn lane at Dynamite Boulevard and 103rd Place.
• Dynamite Boulevard and 108th Place - Beginning April 4th Construction of an eastbound right turn lane at Dynamite Boulevard and 108th Place.
