Work to repair a broken 24-inch water main under the Shea Boulevard median between 90th and 92nd streets will continue through Friday. Crews have repaired the pipe and restored service to the transmission main and are continuing to work to enforce the water service infrastructure and restore the damaged median and surrounding roadway.
Eastbound traffic on Shea Boulevard between 90th and 92nd streets will remain restricted to two lanes through Thursday evening. Westbound traffic will remain restricted to two lanes through Friday afternoon. Drivers are urged to use alternate travel routes.
The Camelback Wash bicycle and pedestrian path remains closed in both directions at Shea Boulevard due to water and silt runoff from the main break and repair. Crews are expected to clean and reopen the path Friday, weather permitting.

Crews are repairing a water main break beneath the median on Shea Boulevard at 92nd Street which has forced restrictions that will remain through the evening rush hour Wednesday and all day Thursday.
Shea Boulevard is restricted to two westbound and two eastbound lanes from 90th Street to 92nd Street.
Drivers should use alternate routes if possible.
Additionally, the Camelback Wash bicycle and pedestrian path is closed both directions at Shea Boulevard due to water runoff.
Scottsdale Water crews were able to isolate the break in the 24-inch pipe, which occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., with no disruption of service to Scottsdale Water customers.
