Primary Election Results

The City of Scottsdale held a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 for the purpose of electing three Councilmembers.  A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 to fill any elected offices that remain unfilled after the Primary Election.  To be elected at the Primary Election, a candidate must receive a majority of all the legal votes cast for that candidate’s race.

None of the Council seats were filled in the Primary Election; therefore, the top six vote getters for the three Council seats advance to the November 4, 2014 General Election ballot.

Residents must be registered to vote by Monday, October 6, 2014 to be qualified to vote in the City of Scottsdale General Election.  Applications for early ballots for the General Election are now available to qualified City electors.  Official ballots will be available beginning Thursday, October 9, 2014.

The polling places used in the City of Scottsdale will be the polling places established by Maricopa County and used for conducting previous elections in the City of Scottsdale, if available.  The polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

A Candidate Information Pamphlet will be mailed to all registered voter households approximately thirty days prior to each election.  A Spanish version of the pamphlet will be available online (http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/elections/espanol) and at the following Scottsdale locations beginning October 9, 2014:
