Remembering the Fisher Family Murders
It has been 13 years since Robert Fisher murdered his wife, Mary, 38, and their two children Brittney, 13, and Bobby, 10, inside their Scottsdale home on April 10, 2001. The Scottsdale Police Department and the FBI are reminding the public that we are continuing our search for Robert Fisher to bring this case to closure for the surviving family members.
On April 10, 2001, the three members of the Fisher family were found murdered inside their Scottsdale home. Ten days later, Mary Fisher's vehicle was found in the wilderness near Payson. The family dog was found near the vehicle, but Robert Fisher was never found.
Robert Fisher remains the only suspect in these brutal murders. Fisher, 51, is listed on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list and the FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. Fisher is described as physically fit, with a noticeable gold crown on his upper left first bicuspid tooth, according to an FBI release
Scottsdale Police and the FBI continue to receive leads on the whereabouts of Fisher on a regular basis. Each lead is investigated thoroughly, however, no information has surfaced as to the whereabouts of Fisher. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local police department, FBI office or Scottsdale Police at 480-312-5000.
