Civil Dialogue Series - “The People's History: An O’Otham Perspective” - Presented by the City of Scottsdale's Human Relations Commission and the Office of Diversity, this series is designed to encourage discussion regarding issues of diversity. Through this program, you can get a glimpse into the livelihood and culture of the Gila River and Salt River Indian communities. Keynote speaker Shannon Rivers is a respected advocate, humanitarian, and proud member of the Gila River Indian Community.

Mayor's Committee on the Employment of People with Disabilities - This program serves to thank those who provide counseling and education and acknowledges those employers that provide jobs for individuals with disabilities. In addition, it recognizes individuals with disabilities who have provided outstanding examples of courage, perseverance and love in the face of adversity.

Songwriters' Showcase - Local singer/songwriters Dez Strada, Amanda Soares and Adam Esrick take to the stage in Tempe.
