Featured Job Opportunity: City Treasurer

Front of City Hall The city of Scottsdale is recruiting qualified candidates for city treasurer. The treasurer is the city’s chief financial officer, financial advisor to the city council, leads the finance, accounting, budget, risk management and business services areas, and is a member of the council-management team of charter officers.

At a minimum, candidates should have 15 years in financial management and a bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting. Additionally, the candidate should be a certified public accountant or have an advanced degree in finance or business administration. Experience working in government agencies will be strongly considered in the selection process.

The position closes July 28.
