Details: Police responded to an injury collision at 74th Street and Shea. Officers found a female pedestrian had been hit by a car and sustained serious injuries. Early investigation reveals that the pedestrian was crossing Shea Blvd. in the crosswalk east of 74th Street in a northbound direction. A vehicle turning left from southbound to eastbound struck her in the crosswalk. She was transported to SHC-Osborn with serious and life-threatening injuries.

The roadway remained closed for 5 hours for the investigation. Citations are pending the conclusion of the investigation. Alcohol/impairment is not a factor in this collision.
