  Sunday, May 27

A unique discussion devoted to Scottsdale’s economy and its future will be replayed by CityCable Channel 11 at 5 p.m. this Sunday, May 27.

The discussion features three of Arizona’s most distinguished economic experts who came together May 24 to brief members of the City Council’s Economic Development Subcommittee.

 Speakers include:

  • Elliott D. Pollack, CEO of Elliott D. Pollack and Company, a Scottsdale-based economic and real estate consulting firm he established in 1987.
  • RL Brown, CEO of RL Brown Housing Reports, which provides housing data and market analysis for the Phoenix metropolitan area.
  • Professor Dennis L. Hoffman, director of the L. William Seidman Research Institute at the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Hoffman is also director of ASU’s Office of the University Economist.

The panel discussion is part of a continuing effort to partner with the local business community to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane and Council members Linda Milhaven and Dennis Robbins are members of the Economic Development Subcommittee.
