Did you know that one leather boot can take up to 80 years to biodegrade in a landfill? Then consider that more than 300 million shoes are thrown away each year.

You have a chance to help our environment and the Family Promiselinks to external site homeless shelter. Nonprofit Keep Scottsdale Beautiful is sponsoring “Any Shoe Will Do! and needs the community’s help. Its goal is to collect 49,000 shoes – in honor of Super Bowl XLIX – that will be recycled into a sport court for Family Promise.
