The city is celebrating Latino history and culture at two special events Sunday:
Civil Dialogue Series - Latino/a Impact Panel: Unique Perspectives of Legacy, Culture, and Influence: Latino residents helped shape the history and culture of Scottsdale. Learn more about their legacy and influence. 10 to 11 a.m. Scottsdale Center for Performing Arts’ Stage 2 Theater, 7380 E. Second St.
La Gran Fiesta - This free event takes place from noon to 4 p.m. and is part of the Sunday A’Fair series. It showcases live Latin music and dance, arts and crafts, fun activities for families, delicious cuisine and more. Grammy-winning band La Santa Cecilia (pictured) headlines the event.**
**Due to the possibility of rain, this event will take place in the Virginia G. Piper Theater in the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served.
