City’s Web site gets new look on Tuesday, July 17
Visitors to the city’s Web site – www.ScottsdaleAZ.gov – will find a new look when they visit the site today.
Frequent visitors to the site will find that navigating will be similar. Links from the home page remain essentially the same, but are located in different areas.
All of the current features of the site also remain in place, including on-line payment for utility bills, on-line registration for recreation classes, full access to City Council, board and commission agendas, access to detailed information on development cases, information on water, solid waste and recycling services, and reports and maps showing various types of information, from crime statistics to code violations, by neighborhood.
The city’s Web team is working to make the transition as smooth as possible, and is asking site users to be patient if they run into technical glitches during the transition. Site visitors can report problems using a special on-line feedback form.
The new Web software will help the city better track how citizens are using the Web site and make future changes based on their needs.
