Residents invited to pitch in on Habitat project

Scottsdale residents and community groups have a chance to literally help rebuild a portion of their city this December.

Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteers to assist in the construction of eight apartment units on Belleview Street. The project is part of an affordable housing project approved in October by the City Council.

The goal is to start construction Dec. 2 and complete it in 16 days. Two adjacent buildings will be built at 7220 and 7224 E. Belleview St. Each building will include four apartments.

To volunteer or for more information, contact Cassandra Jarles at cassandra@habitatcaz.org.
