  Scottsdale Christmas tree pickup begins next week

City brush removal crews will pick up Christmas trees the week of Dec. 29. For curbside or alley collection, simply place your trees where your trash and garbage is normally picked up by 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29. Collection will take place later in the week.

In addition, two tree drop-off sites will be open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 3 -- at Scottsdale Ranch Park, 10400 E. Via Linda; and Eldorado Park’s southeast parking lot, 2311 N. Miller Road. For more information, call (480) 312-5600.

Please remove stands, lights and ornaments. No artificial trees will be collected.
