Seats still open on two Greater Airpark focus groups
Community members are invited to participate in themed focus groups this month to help develop a long-range plan for the Greater Scottsdale Airpark.
Seats are still open on two focus groups:
· One with the theme of economic vitality planned for 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Arabian Library, 10215 E. McDowell Mountain Ranch Road
· One focused on design and sustainability at 6 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Scottsdale Water Campus, 8787 E. Hualapai Drive.
For registration, call the city’s Advance Planning Division at (480) 312-7990 or visit the city’s website at: http://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/planning/areaplans/GreaterAirparkCAP.asp
Because of time constraints, seating in each group is limited and will be designated on a first registered, first served basis.
The focus group series is the latest step in a process to develop a Greater Airpark plan that will guide development in the area for the next several decades. More than 300 community members have participated in workshops and surveys to discuss their visions and priorities for the Greater Airpark.
The focus group series builds on that work. The discussion topics are based upon themes that the community developed and include mobility, land use, economic vitality, design and sustainability.
