City Court asking customers to “judge the court” Aug. 21
The Scottsdale City Court will be asking customers to “judge the court” through a survey rating customer satisfaction from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21.
The City Court is located at 3700 N. 75th St. in Scottsdale.
The CourTools Access and Fairness survey has been administered within Arizona and nationally; the Arizona Supreme Court is sponsoring this survey administration.
CourTools is a set of 10 trial court performance measures published by the National Center for State Courts (www.ncsconline.org) in which performance measures offer court managers a balanced perspective on assessing court operations.
The survey measures court user satisfaction in relation to accessibility and the treatment of customers. It will be administered by a surveyor team at the City Court during regular court business hours and will be provided to all court users - anyone utilizing the court services as they exit the court building, including litigants, victims, prosecutors and law enforcement officers.
The survey questions concentrate on topics such as: how easy it was to find the courthouse and how fairly court users were treated by both judges and court staff. The goal is to analyze court performance by evaluating the court in its entirety. The survey provides an opportunity for courts to identify the areas of performance in which they are exceeding in and examine areas for improvements which could make the court better.
Survey results will be compiled and tabulated by the Arizona Supreme Court and provided to the Scottsdale City Court for future use in court operations.
