Scottsdale residents invited to apply for advisory boards
The Scottsdale City Council invites Scottsdale residents to apply for volunteer positions currently open on two citizen boards.
Openings are currently available on the Board of Adjustment and Development Review Board. The Development Review Board is seeking a development professional with experience as a land developer, builder or contractor.
Applications should be submitted by Friday, Aug. 8, to give council members adequate time for review.
The council will nominate from the applicant pool on Aug. 18. Those nominated will be interviewed on Aug. 26. Following the interviews, the council will appoint residents to three-year terms.
A complete listing of vacancies and an application form are available. Click here.
The application form, which is valid for one year, can also be e-mailed to interested residents who call the City Clerk's Office at (480) 312-2412, or may be picked up in the office in City Hall, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd.
All board and commission members need to comply with the city's Ethics Code. More information on the code is also available. Click here.
