Panel makes cable recommendations; coverage airs on CityCable 11

  Committee’s report on Channel 11 to be televised

An 11-member committee formed to review programming for Scottsdale’s municipal cable television channel has presented its report – televised live – to Mayor W. J. “Jim” Lane.

The Mayor’s Advisory Committee on Channel 11 presented the report on June 29 to the Mayor. (Read the text.)

The session was taped and will be replayed at the following times to allow CityCable viewers several opportunities to watch.

• Thursday, July 2, at 2 p.m.
• Thursday, July 9, at 2, 6 and 9 p.m.

Mayor Lane formed the committee in April to provide input on enhancing the channel’s programming and providing guidance on programming policies. The city operates the channel under license agreements with Scottsdale’s two cable television providers.
