Chill out this 4th of July at WestWorld celebration and fireworks show

The Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld promises to be the coolest family-friendly event of summer.

Live music, more than a dozen interactive children games, a BMX/skateboard stunt show, an ice cream village and other fun activities will fill the air-conditioned North Hall of WestWorld’s Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center.

The indoor activities begin at 2 p.m. in the recently expanded center located at 16601 N. Pima Road. At 9 p.m., everyone’s invited to step outside to enjoy a patriotic fireworks show with the scenic McDowell Mountains as a backdrop.

A variety of food and drinks will be available throughout the celebration, which will also feature the Radio Disney Road Show and a corn hole tournament.

General admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door; children six and under are free. Scottsdale residents enjoy a reduced price ticket of $5 in advance.

A limited number of VIP tickets are available at $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and include an unlimited amount of Vienna Beef hot dogs, hamburgers, soda, watermelon and reserved bleacher seats for the fireworks.
