  Loop 101 Freeway section closed this weekend

The Arizona Department of Transportation plans the following restrictions this weekend for paving and other work on high occupancy vehicle lanes:

• The northbound Loop 101 Freeway will be closed between Via De Ventura and Princess Drive from 10 p.m. Friday, May 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 11. The northbound on-ramps north of Raintree and Frank Lloyd Wright boulevards also will be closed during this time. The primary detour route will take traffic off at Via de Ventura, west to Hayden Road, north on Hayden to Frank Lloyd Wright, west to Greenway-Hayden Loop and then north back to the freeway.
• The southbound Loop 101 Freeway will be narrowed to two open lanes between Shea Boulevard and Via De Ventura from 11 p.m. Friday, May 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, May 11.
