Night Run for the Arts will close portions of downtown streets Saturday eve

Downtown road sections to close during  Saturday's Night Run for the Arts



The Valley's premier evening race, the Night Run for the Arts, takes place at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 3 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall Amphitheater, 75th and Main streets in downtown Scottsdale.
Several road sections will be either closed or restricted from roughly 6:30 to 11 p.m. to accommodate the race.
Here are specific closures:

  • Indian School Road between Drinkwater and Miller will be closed for 7:55 to 8:20 p.m.
  • Miller Road will be closed from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. between Second Street and Osborn Road
  • 75th Street will be closed south of Indian School during the entire event

Night Run for the Arts features an 8K race through downtown, a three-mile fun run/walk and an art stroll -- a docent-guided walking tour of the sculptures on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall. The event culminates with an outdoor party featuring a concert by Big Nick and the Gila Monsters and an awards ceremony.
