SkySong structure dedication is April 29

  SkySong structure and plaza dedication is Wednesday



The SkySong shade structure and plaza, the centerpiece of the SkySong Center, will be dedicated on Wednesday evening, April 29. The 125-foot-high structure was completed earlier this year.

Festivities take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and include entertainment, demonstrations by SkySong innovators and companies, and free refreshments. The dedication ceremony begins at 6 p.m.

The public is cordially invited to attend. Access to parking (see map) is available off 74th Street south of McDowell Road. 

SkySong is an international business and innovation center located 1475 N. Scottsdale Road. It is designed as a global focal point for technological innovation, cross-disciplinary collaboration and expansion of world trade.

Plans call for the development of 1.2 million square feet of high-tech commercial office space, retail space, restaurants and 324 apartments.

Partners in the development are the City of Scottsdale, the Arizona State University Foundation, Higgins Development Partners and the Plaza Companies.
