Location changed for Human Services Commission meeting
The Scottsdale Human Services Commission meeting set for 5 p.m. Thursday, March 13, has been moved to a new location -- the Granite Reef Senior Center, Room 7, 1700 N. Granite Reef Road.
The meeting originally was set at Scottsdale City Hall, but is being moved because of a special City Council meeting.
The Human Services Commission will be considering recommendations for the distribution of federal Community Development Block Grant and HOME funds to agencies serving Scottsdale.
Recommendations for distribution of funds from the Scottsdale Cares program, endowment funds and designated funding from the city's General Fund also will be considered. The commission will forward its recommendations to the City Council, which makes the final determination of the distribution of funding.
