Take the Scottsdale Trolley to a spring training game
Scottsdale’s free trolley will serve Scottsdale Stadium during the San Francisco Giants spring training games this season. The service is an extension of the Downtown Trolley, which runs every 10 minutes.
Service on the extended route begins an hour and half before the start of each game and ends 30 minutes after each game.
The Giants first spring training game at Scottsdale Stadium starts at 1:05 p.m. this Thursday, Feb. 26, versus the Los Angeles Dodgers.
There are several free public parking areas along the Downtown Trolley route or within a short walking distance including City Hall, the First Street and Brown parking garage and the garage at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
The free Neighborhood Trolley, which runs every 20 minutes, also connects with Scottsdale Stadium and stops at the Loloma Transit Center and the Second Street parking garage.
Bicycles and bicycle taxis are temporarily prohibited from Drinkwater Boulevard between Osborn Road and Second Street during spring training games for safety precautions and to ensure efficient traffic flow. Alternate routes include Brown and Miller Roads on either side of Drinkwater Boulevard. Bicyclists are welcome to walk their bicycles through the restricted area.
