Residents invited to comment online about proposed 2012 Bond Program
The Scottsdale Bond Task Force is seeking public comment on the proposed 2012 bond package. The nine-member task force unveiled the proposed plan this month which includes 34 projects totaling $167.5 million.
Online comment will be available through March 1 at Bond Task Force. Information on the proposed projects and bond program process is also available on the website.
The Task Force was formed last summer by the City Council and charged with reviewing and recommending projects for a possible bond election in 2012 or beyond.
During an extensive public outreach process that included 13 meetings in eight different community locations, the task force reviewed dozens of potential projects.
The Task Force plans to finalize the program on March 8 and present its recommendations to the City Council on March 27 at a joint study session.
