Indian Bend Road closure extended to permit construction
The closure of Indian Bend Road at the Indian Bend Wash has been extended until roughly March 23 to permit a road widening and bridge construction project to remain on schedule.
Access to all local businesses and residential areas is open, but through traffic using Indian Bend Road cannot cross the wash.
The section of Indian Bend Road between Scottsdale and Hayden roads has experienced traffic restrictions as part of a project to construct a four-lane bridge across the wash. Recent heavy rains have delayed the work. Keeping Indian Bend Road closed at the wash will permit the project to stay on schedule for a September completion.
