SCOTTSDALE SUPER DOWNTOWN TRAFFIC BULLETIN
FOR FRIDAY NIGHT
Public parking spaces close to most events in Scottsdale’s Downtown are estimated to be more than 90 percent full as of about 9 p.m. Friday.
Some perimeter lots are filling up, as well.
The city is reminding drivers headed to events to park, if possible, in perimeter lots to the south of downtown and use a free trolley service circulating around the area. Trolleys will operate until 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
Parking is still available at the following locations, which are also located along trolley stops:
· Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish lot just south of Indian School Road on Miller Road.
· United Methodist Church lot just north of Indian School Road on Miller Road.
· Scottsdale Artist's School lot on 2nd Street and Goldwater Blvd.
· 2nd Street public parking garage between 1st and 2nd streets at Brown Ave. (east of Scottsdale Road).
Downtown interior streets can become congested as drivers seek limited parking close to events.
