New Mayor, Council members sworn in Jan. 13

  New Mayor, Council members sworn in Tuesday


W. J. "Jim" Lane was sworn in Tuesday, Jan. 13, as Scottsdale's new Mayor, along with reelected Councilman Ron McCullagh and new Councilwomen Lisa M. Borowsky and Suzanne Klapp.

The three were sworn in during an afternoon inauguration ceremony at Scottsdale City Hall.  Mayor Lane delivered a brief inaugural address outlining key issues facing the city. 

Mayor Lane and the three Council members won seats on the Council in the Nov. 4 election.

They join Vice Mayor Robert Littlefield and Councilmen Wayne Ecton and Tony Nelssen on the seven-member City Council.
