Scottsdale celebrates the rich heritage of the Hispanic Community with Hispanic Heritage Day. In partnership with the Human Relations Commission (HRC), The Diversity Advisory Committee (DAC) hosts the annual Hispanic Heritage Community Celebration. Each year the event gets larger and includes live entertainment, educational booths, food, vendors and art exhibits. The proceeds from this event along with Scottsdale's Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration will be used in the distribution of youth scholarships.
This year's Hispanic Heritage Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall from 5:00 - 10:00 pm. You don't want to miss this great event! Check out pictures from the 2007 celebration.
