Dedication of "The Chaplain" sculpture honoring Scottsdale veterans

Event Description: Join local veterans groups, the Mayor and City Council and the Scottsdale Public Art program for the dedication of "The Chaplain," a sculpture by Scottsdale artist Austin Deuel honoring the city's veterans.  The heroic-scale sculpture depicts a World War I military chaplain.  The sculpture will stand just outside City Hall and its base will list each of our nation's major conflicts, along with the number of dead and wounded.  Members of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans groups have raised funds for the sculpture.
