Public Involvement

Public outreach to the residents of Section 31 began in July 2009 when the Local Area Infrastructure Plan (LAIP) web page was created.  

In September 2009, property owners affected by the LAIP were sent a mailing that provided maps and offers for one-on-one meeting opportunities with city staff. 

In October, postcards were mailed to residents and property owners as notification for a general public meeting in November to further discuss the plan. 

In December, 2010 a follow-up general neighborhood meeting was held at Grayhawk Elementary School to further discuss the LAIP plan, public safety needs and wild land fire interface issues.

On April 2, 2012 another public meeting was held with residents of Section 31 to discuss the emergency access needs and recommendations of the Fire Department.
