Project News

We will do our best to provide the most current information; however, please remember that construction schedules sometimes need to be adjusted due to weather, materials scheduling, utility coordination, or various other factors.

Inital utility relocations are complete. The contractor has placed and striped temporary asphalt on the east side of Scottsdale Road to be able to, once again, accommodate two lanes in each direction on Scottsdale Road for the remainder of the project.

Next, the bridge will be constructed one-half at a time, first the west side and then the east side of the bridge.

SILVERSTONE DRIVE IS CLOSED AT SCOTTSDALE ROAD to accommodate utility relocations and construction of the bridge at the Rawhide Wash.  The Appaloosa Library and Vi at Silverstone remain open and accessible via Williams from the east or Pinnacle Peak to Los Portones/74th Street.  This closure will be in effect until the bridge construction is complete, estimated for September 2013.

While driving through construction can sometimes be challenging, please continue to patronize your businesses in the North Scottsdale Road project area.
