Have you ever wondered how Scottsdale Airport operates, what’s happening there now or it’s impact on the community? Now is your chance to find out!
Scottsdale Airport has a community outreach program specifically designed to answer questions for your group. Airport staff has been proactive in reaching out to the community, but now we are "taking it to the streets" by bringing the airport to you.
If you would like an airport speaker to engage your homeowner's association, community group or civic organization, we have the program for you. Whether it's a quick 10-minute presentation or your group has an hour's worth of questions, do not hesitate to invite us to one of your future meetings.

COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE
Scottsdale Airport (SDL) hosted a Community Open House on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Nearly 700 people attended the event to view aircraft arrivals and departures up close and to learn about the various types of general aviation aircraft and businesses that operate at the airport. There were 12 aircraft on display including several types of single-engine propeller-driven aircraft, two helicopters, two corporate jets, a fire-fighting air tanker, two fire trucks, and a 1943 military bombardier trainer. Eighteen businesses were represented and provided information about their company and role at the airport.
