July 6th, 2004 Council Meeting
At this meeting, the City Council approved the proposal by a vote of 5-2. The Council did not approve an "emergency clause" which would have made the proposal effective immediately.

June 28th, 2004 Council Meeting
The City Council discussed the proposal at 5 p.m. June 28 in the City Hall Kiva, 3939 N. Drinkwater Blvd. The council took public comments at that time. Presentations made include the following:

June 24th, 2004 Open House
An open house on the proposal took place from 6 to 8 p.m. June 24, at the city’s Community Design Studio, 7506 E. Indian School Road. Representatives from Arizona State University, the ASU Foundation and the city were available to provide information and answer questions from the public on the city’s purchase and lease back of the land. Comment cards for the City Council were accepted at that time.
June 21st, 2004 City Council Meeting
The Scottsdale City Council held a special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday, June 21, to hear details of the proposed agreement.
